Sport RX – I just ordered my second pair of prescription polarized fishing sunglasses from Sport RX and I’ll have to say the process was super easy plus I saved quite a bit verses ordering them from an eye doctor.
Why a second pair you might ask? I like the glasses so much I wanted have an extra pair in case they get lost or broken.

the website is well built and easy to navigate – you can go through the process to see exactly what you’re getting and the cost without purchasing.
These guys carry all the popular brands like Costa, Maui Jim, Oakley and 50 other brands. You can select them by activity, brand, frame style, face fit, price or 10 other parameters. The lenses come in every option available, like poly carbonate, 580p or glass and then in every color that manufacture offers, so it’s comforting to know you’re getting the correct lens.
Here’s what to do, go to sportrx.com and choose either your activity, gender, brand or however you’d like to filter your results then choose your glasses by clicking on the ones you want. Now you’re on the glasses page, select the product type (prescription or regular sunglasses), choose the frame color, now you choose your lens correction style (bifocal, single vision etc.) after that choose the lens material type and finally the lens color.
Once there, you can either upload either upload your prescription or do it later. If you just wanted to check the cost you can select upload later and it will show you the total cost of your prescription sunglasses with your choices – at this point you can also edit all of you choices but … if you hit the back button it’s all erased and you’ll have to start again.
Uploading your prescription is pretty easy, can you upload a PDF or what I did is, I took a picture with my phone then uploaded that to their website.
They offer free returns; free shipping and they will price match. Overall a great experience!
