Podcast for Women Who Love to Hunt and Fish

Artemis Podcast is a podcast produced by, for and about sports women who are passionate about wildlife and habitat conservation.  Women are the fastest growing segment in the sporting community, but too often their voices are not heard.  The Artemis Podcast aims to change that.

“There are more than 1 million women hunters and nearly 10 million women anglers in the U.S. and they’re looking for a place to connect, learn and be inspired,” said Marcia Brownlee, podcast host and program manager for Artemis. “The Artemis Podcast will amplify the voices of the adventurous and accomplished women who are redefining conservation.”

Artemis, a program of the National Wildlife Federation, brings together sportswomen to advance conservation, empower leadership and protect the health of wildlife and the future of the sporting heritage.  The podcast, which was launched today, is sponsored by Hunt to Eat, a hunter branded clothing company.

Podcast Episodes

In the first few episodes of the Artemis Podcast, listeners will meet the some of the leaders of the Artemis movement, talk about the best gear for winter angling and efforts underway to recruit and retain hunters.  Filled with humor, audacity, empathy and intelligence, Artemis will introduce you to women from all walks of the sporting community and encourage you to become a leader in the conservation community.
