The Northeast Military Division is organized under the National Bass Anglers Association. It is the only NBAA Division in the State of New Jersey. Our goal is to help Active, Retired, and Veteran Military service members and DOD Employees relax, rehabilitate, and reintegrate through fishing and the outdoors with entry fees lower than traditional organizations and tournament trails. Our events also help warriors reconnect to self, family, job, and community, providing a social network to assist with their journey home.
WHO QUALIFIES TO PARTICIPATE? This divisions tournaments are open to EVERYONE, however with the exception of our annual “OPEN” event, all participants must be members of the National Bass Anglers Association (NBAA). Joining the NBAA can be done online through NBAA-Bass.com, through this website, or at the boat ramp 1 hour prior to the start of each tournament.
NBAA Membership is required for all Regular Season Events.
Our unique points system allows participants to miss some tournaments during the season and remain competitive in Angler of year and end of year standings. With the aid of sponsorships and volunteer supporters, we offer our tournaments at fees much lower than other tournament trails. Each year the top 10 TEAMS of this division qualify to compete in the NBAA National Championship.
Tournament Overview
The Northeast Military Division Series was created by military members who understand the sacrifices made by our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines in fulfilling their military obligations. We want to provide a tournament trail that give our participants the opportunity to compete at a State and National level by incorporating a unique scoring system that takes military obligations into consideration. We asked military tournament anglers what they were looking for in a fishing tournament trail. With the information we gathered, we created the Northeast Military Division. Each year, THE TOP 10 DIVISION TEAMS AUTOMATICALLY ADVANCE TO THE NBAA National Championship in the following spring!!!
