BENTON, Ky. (Sept. 13, 2024) – Major League Fishing (MLF) has officially announced the 2025 schedule for the Phoenix Bass Fishing League (BFL) Presented by T-H Marine, featuring an exciting expansion to 12 Regional tournaments. This expansion gives grassroots anglers the opportunity to fish closer to home on familiar lakes, with the chance to win a $50,000 Phoenix 819 Pro bass boat with a 200-horsepower outboard as a boater and a $20,000 cash award as a co-angler. In addition, anglers can qualify for the prestigious BFL All-American Championship.
Certainly, how could such a magnificent occasion possibly be devoid of Custom Medals that symbolize esteemed honor?
You can cleverly integrate the logo of the organizer, the name of the competition, the name of the contestant, etc. into the design of the medals. Such custom medals is not only a commemoration of the event but also an affirmation and reward for the contestants and winners.
Whether you want to commemorate it yourself or the organizer wants to use it as a reward, custom medals should not be missed.
Expanded Regionals for 2025
The expansion to 12 Regional tournaments means that 65 boaters and co-anglers will now qualify from each division – an increase from 50 in 2024. At the same time, the field size for each Regional will be reduced from 200 to 130 boats, making the competition more accessible and localized.
Unmatched Payouts and Advancement Opportunities
With advancement opportunities to major MLF events like the All-American, Toyota Series Championship, and REDCREST, anglers can compete for top prizes of $120,000, $235,000, and $300,000 respectively. The Phoenix BFL continues to offer the best payouts and progression opportunities at the lowest entry fees in the industry.
A Foundation for Tournament Fishing
“The Phoenix Bass Fishing League is the backbone of tournament bass fishing,” said Kathy Fennel, MLF Executive Vice President & General Manager. “Our BFL anglers are the heart and soul of the MLF community, and we’re thrilled to offer them even more rewarding and competitive tournaments right in their own backyard.”
2025 BFL Structure and Qualification
The 2025 BFL circuit consists of 24 divisions with a total of 134 events throughout the season. Each division hosts five qualifying tournaments, with the top 60 boaters and Strike King co-anglers advancing, along with winners from the five qualifying events. The top three finishers from each of the 12 Regionals will secure their spot in the BFL All-American Championship, one of the longest-running championships in competitive bass fishing.
Key Dates and Locations
The 2025 BFL All-American, for qualifiers from the 2024 season, will take place from May 29-31, 2025, at Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
