Major League Fishing (MLF) has officially announced the schedule for the 2025 Toyota Series Presented by Phoenix Boats.
The series will kick off in early February at Pickwick Lake in Florence, Alabama, and will culminate in early November at the Toyota Series Championship on Grand Lake in Grove, Oklahoma.
Grove, Oklahoma, Set to Host Toyota Series Championship
Brent Malone, Director of the Grove Convention and Tourism Bureau, expressed excitement about hosting the prestigious Toyota Series Championship at Wolf Creek Park. “We live and breathe fishing in Grove, Oklahoma, and it’s an honor to welcome international anglers for this world-class event. When MLF comes to town, we roll out the red carpet and make everyone feel at home,” said Malone. With a rich history of hosting top-tier fishing events, the community is eager to make this championship a memorable experience.
Toyota Series: Big Payouts for Local Competition
The Toyota Series offers the largest payouts for the lowest entry fees in national tournament fishing. Anglers can compete close to home, with the top pros vying for up to $235,000, including a $35,000 Phoenix MLF Bonus, at the Toyota Series Championship. Co-anglers have the chance to win a $33,500 Phoenix 518 Pro bass boat, fully powered by a 115-horsepower engine. In addition, the winning pro will earn a coveted spot in REDCREST 2026, with a chance to compete for $300,000.
2025 Toyota Series Schedule Highlights
MLF Toyota Series Tournament Director Mark McWha shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming season: “We’re wrapping up an amazing season and excited to reveal the 2025 schedule. Next year’s events will feature favorite fishing locations and new challenges for anglers, promising competitive and unforgettable experiences for all.”
Changes in 2025: Focus on Growth Areas
In 2025, MLF will suspend the Toyota Series Western Division but will expand its Phoenix Bass Fishing League (BFL) by adding six new Regional events, bringing the total to 12 Regionals. This expansion aims to reduce travel requirements for qualifying anglers and create more local opportunities for competition. MLF will continue to explore options for reintroducing Western competitions in 2026.
Stay tuned for more updates as MLF delivers competitive fishing opportunities across the country for all skill levels!
