Garmin anglers Jason Christie and Greg Hackney claim top-10 finishes at the world’s most prestigious bass angling event

(NASDAQ:GRMN), today announced that two of its marine pro team anglers, Jason Christie and Greg Hackney, placed second and tenth respectively at the 2016 GEICO Bassmaster Classic, commonly referred to as the world championship of fishing. Christie, who had a commanding lead of nearly six pounds after the first two days, finished with a total haul of 50 pounds, 2 ounces. Hackney’s final score was 40 pounds, 9 ounces. Christie and Hackney were among the five Garmin pro team anglers fishing this year’s Classic.
