Blaylock teams up with Quicksilver

Over the course of his nine-year professional career, Arkansas-based bass pro Stetson Blaylock has built a reputation for consistency and high-level performance on the water. It seems only natural that Blaylock heads into his rookie season on the Bassmaster Elite Series with Quicksilver Marine Parts & Accessories lubricants and additives keeping his Legend V20 and Mercury 250 OptiMax Pro XS running smoothly.

“Stetson is a natural fit for the ‘QCREW’ based on his consistency and performance over his career.  Quicksilver Products is excited to partner with him at the start of his Bassmaster Elite journey,” said Eric Reilley, Quicksilver Products, marketing manager, aftermarket products.  “Quicksilver was looking to sponsor another Elite angler to add to the Water Crew during the 2017 season and Stetson, being a rookie to the Elite tour was a perfect fit as Quicksilver enters only is second year of sponsorship of Bassmaster Elite athletes.”

Blaylock – who racked up nearly $900,000 in winnings and 32 Top 10 finishes in his FLW Tour career – was recently added to the roster of the Quicksilver “QCREW”, joining perennial Elite Series contender Jacob Powroznik on the Water Crew for the 2017 Elite season.

“The Quicksilver brand has helped all kinds of power equipment last longer and run stronger for a long, long time,” says Blaylock. “I’ll put some hard hours on my boat and motor on the Elite Series, but I know I depend on Quicksilver products to keep me on the water.”

Blaylock started his professional career with a bang, winning the third event he fished as a pro on the FLW Tour (in 2009) and running away with Rookie of the Year honors that year. He collected two Top 5 Angler of the Year finishes in the past four seasons, and qualified for 11 Forrest Wood Cup championships before making the move this year to the Elite Series.
