Tommy Biffle Adopts River2Sea Spittin’ Wa into Signature Lineup

Tommy Biffle; the legendary professional angler who; along with River2Sea, introduced his new Tommy Biffle’s Junkyard Jig to the industry and the media at ICAST, has adopted another of River2Sea’s products into his signature family.

The previously announced Spittin’ Wa popping frog has joined the Tommy Biffle signature product family.

Biffle first petitioned the company for the adoption after he used the lure in his search for finding some of his early fish at the Bassmaster Elite Series Mississippi River Rumble in LaCrosse, Wisc. in June 2013; an event he would eventually win. Biffle informed River2Sea that he really loved the action of the lure, and made a few suggestions that helped River2Sea finish the product in time for ICAST.

Following the required waiting period for adoption, River2Sea officers decided that Biffle had exhibited the right amount of care for the product and decided that adding the River2Sea Spittin’ Wa would be a perfect addition to his family. “Tommy Biffle has certainly earned a reputation for making his mark in super shallow, junk filled water, so we knew the Spittin’ Wa would get the right amount of attention in his family,” said Simon Chan, CEO of River2Sea. “It is the right fit for his family and for ours, so it will now be known as the Tommy Biffle Spittin’ Wa.”

The Spittin’ Wa comes in two sizes, features a clear, cupped, popping mouth, a hollow body and stout River2Sea double hooks designed to penetrate and hold bass strong. The Spittin’ Wa is available in eight premium River2Sea finishes, and has already begun shipping to dealers in the limited quantities that have become available following ICAST.

The Spittin’ Wa packaging will initially include a label designating it as a Tommy Biffle signature product, and packaging on subsequent deliveries will feature redesigned Biffle signature packaging. For more on River2Sea, visit us on the web at www.river2seausa.com
