River2Sea Breaks Lake Record

Want to know what helped Kevin Miranda of Sacramento break a new lake record for largemouth bass? Well he used a River2Sea V-joint Crank Bait S-110 deep drive lure near Little Hat Island on Lake Camanche.

The 18.17-pound lunker he netted was 31 inches long and had a 24-inch girth, surpassing the former lake record (caught in 2013) by nearly three pounds.

The record bass puts Miranda in the lead for Lake Camanche’s 2015 Monster Fish Contest for biggest bass.

The biggest largemouth bass ever caught weighed 22 lbs. 5 oz. and was landed on Biwa Lake, Japan in 2009. California’s record largemouth bass was a 22 lb. .5 oz. fish caught on Castaic Lake in 1991.
