Mike “Ike” Iaconelli to be inducted into the All Sports Museum of Southern NJ

Bridgeton, NJ (December 17, 2024) – The All Sports Museum of Southern New Jersey (ASMOSNJ) is proud to announce the induction of renowned professional bass angler Mike “Ike” Iaconelli into its Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the museum’s location in Bridgeton, NJ.

Mike Iaconelli: A Trailblazing Career in Bass Fishing

Mike Iaconelli has carved a historic legacy in professional bass fishing over the past 30 years. He remains the only angler to have achieved victories in the Bassmaster Classic, Bassmaster Angler of the Year, and the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Championship. His illustrious career was further celebrated with his 2023 induction into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame, a prestigious honor recognizing individuals whose contributions have propelled the sport of bass fishing to its professional prominence.

In addition to his tournament successes, Iaconelli has dedicated himself to advancing the sport. Through his entertainment, education, and philanthropy efforts—including The Bass University, the Ike Live Podcast, his YouTube series (“Going Ike” and “Ike in the Shop”), and The Ike Foundation®—he has inspired anglers of all ages and skill levels. He has also hosted several TV shows, including “City Limits” on Pursuit Channel, “Fish My City” on NatGeo Wild, and “My World” on CBS Sports Network.

This induction marks a historic milestone for ASMOSNJ, as Iaconelli becomes the first professional angler to be enshrined in the museum’s Hall of Fame. A southern New Jersey native, Mike and his wife, Becky, reside in the area with their four children. Outside of fishing, Iaconelli enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, and collecting vintage ink bottles.
