Such is his talent for creating effective color patterns that Rapala, the most trusted name in fishing, enlisted him to design the “Ike’s Custom Ink” color patterns available on a variety of the world’s favorite Rapala lures.
This year, Rapala and Ike have added the immensely popular Shad Rap and X-Rap to the Ike’s Custom Ink arsenal and introduced four new, attention-grabbing color patterns for the Rapala DT (Dives-To) Series.
According to Ike, three key elements set his Custom Ink offerings apart from the competition:
1. A muted toned-down color pattern.
2. A fine layer of eye-catching glitter that replicates the appearance of natural scales.
3. A pearlescent finish that mimics the natural sheen and vibrancy of real-life forage species.
