Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits recently sign on as a corporate partner to the Wild West Bass Trail. The agreement will provide GYCB unique tournament and television promotional opportunities as the WWBT prepares for its inaugural Pro/AM event, January 16, 2016 on Lake Pleasant, Arizona.
The partnership with GYCB is special according to WWBT co-founder Gary Dobyns. “Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits has been there from the very beginning, playing a huge part in not only my fishing career, but modern tournament fishing as a whole. It is easy to see their influence, especially out West, from product development to innovation to international marketing. I don’t know of a single fisherman who has not used a Senko or other Yamamoto product at one point or another. We are so very proud to have them supporting our trail.”
Earlier this month, the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame announced that Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits founder, Gary Yamamoto, will be inducted into the Hall at its March 2016 annual banquet in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Offering professional-level competition throughout the west, the Wild West Bass Trail provides its anglers with the opportunity to further develop and advance their fishing careers. Additionally, the WWBT offers its corporate partners the opportunity to expand sales through comprehensive national and regional television coverage, exclusive on-the-water demonstrations, and various tournament incentive programs.
