Brian Latimer Gets Hooked by Spearpoint

MLF Big5 Tackle Warehouse pro and social media mega star Brian Latimer has joined the Spearpoint Performance Hooks pro staff.  Spearpoint Performance Hooks announces that the deal runs through the end of the 2023 year, with both parties expectant and hopeful for a much longer relationship.
Latimer first became acquainted with Spearpoint when they hired him to do some promotional videos on his YouTube Channel announcing the brand.  Latimer, who often helps small companies with such announcements, began using the hooks in his own personal fishing situations.
It was during some of those outings that the effectiveness of the product became clear to him.  “I saw how well the GP Finesse hooks held fish while I was dropshotting and Wacky rigging, and I was impressed,” he said.  “But it was early in the life of the brand and with limited styles, I didn’t get much of a chance to fully utilize them.”
Then, after receiving some samples of the Spearpoint Fury Flip Hook that was introduced at ICAST 2021, Latimer put them to use.  “I used the Fury Flip and was seeing every fish hooked in exactly the way I want them to be, and I was landing a greater number of the fish that bit,” he reported.  “I knew that this was a hook that not only would I use, but it was a company that I wanted to represent.”
Being a brand spokesman is something that the Belton, S.C. pro does with a great deal of consideration.  “I want to represent brands that have a great deal of innovation in their design and production, listen to their team and are good people,” said Latimer.  “That’s what I have found in the guys at Spearpoint; I love the product, they love input, and I’ve enjoyed getting to know them; so, I called and opened discussions.”
That call came with an enthusiastic response from Spearpoint founders Erik Hennesay and Art Nubaryan.  “We are thrilled to have Brian join the Spearpoint family,” said Hennesay, “He is a strong fisherman with a vibrant platform and a fan base that is passionate about what he does. We are excited to work on projects with him and work together in promoting our brands.”
Latimer joins a Spearpoint Performance Hooks Major League Fishing Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit team that includes pro anglers Brandon McMillan of Clewiston, Fla. and Billy Hines of Vacaville, Calif., as well as the recent addition of Ricardo Gonzales from Monterrey Nuevo Leon, AGU, a former FLW Mexico Champion.
