The 2022 APEX Pro Tour Championship has been finalized and is scheduled for February 17-19, 2023, on Folsom Lake nestled in the highly metropolis cities of Sacramento and Folsom CA.

The year-end championship event invites the top performing anglers from the highest qualified tour in the western United States. Anglers fished a grueling 4-event schedule from Arizona, California, Oregon in 2022 to earn each precious point to make the top 30 in the Anglers of The Year Points Race. The difference in making this coveted championship was a mere 6 points.

Daily weigh-ins will be held at Browns Ravine Recreation Area located at 1992 Vista Mar Dr, El Dorado Hills, CA. The entire field will fish the first two days and the field will be cut to the top 10 anglers for championship Sunday.

In 2023 the APEX Pro Tour anglers will fish all year to qualify for the 2024 APEX Pro Tour Championship which will award the winning angler a Bass Cat boat and a Mercury Marine Outboard engine valued at $60,000.00

“The APEX Pro Tour focuses on more rural and exclusive cities and waterways. I am proud the APEX Pro Tour has increased tourism in all the venues we have visited. Lake Almanor, Arlington OR, Dalles OR, Lake Mohave AZ to name a few. With the televised event which airs on the Pursuit Channel and can reach 47 million households, our social media reach commonly exceeds 60-100K interactions.

We have the greatest anglers who represent the sport in a highly professional manner. I am proud that the APEX Pro Tour and our anglers conduct community outreach and enrichment. The APEX Pro Tour is not a tournament organization, it is a broad-based media company who happens to hold tournaments” said APEX Pro Tour CEO Jeremy DeHart.

A truly unique format from the traditional 5-fish limit, the APEX Pro Tour Format is:

  • This is the highest qualified level of competitive fishing in the western United States.
  • Live leaderboard via TourneyX
  • Televised via Pursuit Channel
