American Sportfishing Association Elects Board of Directors Members

Alexandria, Va. – June 25, 2024 – Four members of the American Sportfishing Association (ASA) were elected to fill two At-Large seats and two regional seats on the Board of Directors. Their three-year terms begin October 1, 2024.

ASA is the national trade association that represents the sportfishing industry. The association has six regions: West, South Central, Great Lakes, Southeast, Northeast and Northern Plains and Inter-mountain. Each member company or organization is assigned to the region where that member’s primary business is located.

Elected to the At-Large board seats:

  • Jeff Kolodzinski – Brand Manager, Fishing, Johnson Outdoors
  • Casey Shedd – President, AFTCO

Elected to the Regional board seats:

  • Dan Pastore – Co-Founder, President and CEO, FishUSA, Inc., Northeast Region
  • Bruce Stanton – VP and GM, PRADCO, South Central Region

“I congratulate Casey Shedd and Bruce Stanton on being re-elected to the board of directors and welcome Jeff Kolodzinski and Dan Pastore to their first terms on the board,” said ASA President Glenn Hughes.

“These four seasoned industry professionals and long-standing ASA members contribute decades of expertise to ASA’s governing board,” Hughes remarked. “I look forward to working with them and I’d like to extend my gratitude to the entire board for their dedication and service to the industry and the entire recreational fishing community.”

Jeff Kolodzinski is Brand Manager, Fishing at Johnson Outdoors. Kolodzinski has been a member of both the ASA Communications and Marketing Committees since 2018. He is a seven-time member of the US National Freshwater Team and annually serves the military community through the “Marathon Man” fishing fundraiser.

Dan Pastore is Co-Founder, President and CEO of FishUSA, Inc. Pastore launched FishUSA from his garage in 2000 and elevated it to the leading national ecommerce retailer of sportfishing tackle.

Casey Shedd – President of AFTCO. Starting his second term, Shedd has previously served on the Board of Directors Executive Committee, as the Chair of the Membership Committee, and helped to establish the newly created Sustainability and Community Committee.

Bruce Stanton – VP and GM of PRADCO. Stanton brings a veteran presence to the ASA Board having previously served from 2007-2008 and 2022-2024. He also serves on the Membership Committee and the Sustainability and Community Committee.
