All American Kayak Series set to work with the Romans Warrior Foundation for 2024

Joplin, MO. — 10/31/2023 — The All American Kayak Series set to work with the Romans Warrior Foundation for 2024! for the 2024 season! This collaboration will focus on bringing healing and connection through kayak fishing, golf, and hiking at each one of the 2024 tournament trail stops for the AAKS.

“The ability to bring healing and comradery to our nation’s warfighters is a task we are very excited about!” said Gene Campbell, Assistant Tournament Director for the AAKS. “The health benefits of outdoor activities for active military personnel, veterans, first responders, and their families, is well documented. Our reach through-out the nation coupled with the resources of the Romans Warrior Foundation means by working with local area entities, we have a chance to impact these communities far beyond an economic boost from the series.”

This will range from northern Wisconsin all the way to the middle of Arkansas. Not only will the AAKS trail series have a positive economic impact on these locations with the national draw of anglers, but now they will be staged to have a deeper connection and positive impact on the area’s warriors that call these communities home!

The All American Kayak Series is a national kayak fishing tournament series. Their focus is on the Midwest “fly-over” states that are often left out of the bigger national series.

Based out of Missouri, the desire was to create a series that makes it easier for the “working- person” to fish. Smaller entry fees and a format that allows anglers to fish their strengths and reduce the amount of PTO they need to use to get to the events, are a couple of the staples set in place for 2024 and beyond. “We are not a professional series.

We worked with BASS and Hobie in the off season to assure our schedule doesn’t conflict with theirs much at all. We really have no desire to try and compete with them (BASS and Hobie). We have a different product
here tailor made for every kayak angler in the nation. Not just the handful that can do this full time. Our desire is to have fun events that payout very high and that go to great fisheries across the Midwest.” says Joshua Boothe, Tournament Director and owner of the AAKS. Josh, as a veteran and retried Marine, knows the importance of outdoor activity and the benefits that it provides his brothers and sisters across America.
