Bass Angler is a content driven fishing magazine with an emphases on responsible journalism. We publish about 25 feature articles per issue. Our angler inspired articles are a blended mix of: seasonal patterns, tournament tactics, seasonal tactics, educational tips, basic techniques and a little bit of lifestyle and destinations which keep anglers interested and promotes cover to cover reading. The spring issue includes a mix of how-to and seasonally adjusted technique articles designed to help bass anglers catch larger bass before during and after the spawn. You can expect to see articles on: sight fishing, swimbaits, shallow crankbaits, large plastics, flipping, pitching, shallow structure, rising water, muddy water, trophy bass and various other spring time strategies.
Tournament articles: Each issue contains two to four articles designed to help tournament anglers with better finishes, co-angler’s and angler marketing
Destinations: We generally publish one or two springtime destination pieces
Lifestyles: Each issue usually includes one or two lifestyle pieces highlighting various anglers or celebrities that fish for bass
Summer
The summer issue will include a mix of how-to and seasonally adjusted technique articles designed to help bass anglers catch more bass during the hottest part of the year. You can expect to see articles such as: Topwater, shallow cranking, ledge fishing, wakebaits, soft jerkbaits, small swimbaits, smallmouth, keeping cool, aquatic vegetation, oxygen levels, bass mortality, fishing vacation, electronics, navigating the internet, choosing the right rod and other summertime bass articles.

Live bait fished deep, chatter baits, jerkbaits, giant topwater baits, swimbaits, micro baits, trolling for bass, before the freeze, invasive species, bass biology, bait fish movement, off shore structure, creeks, schooling bass, vintage technique, electronics, google earth, match the hatch and other articles geared toward the fall.

Swimbaits, live Bait for trophy bass, deep water jigs, deep cranking, spin baiting, deep spinnerbaits, ice fishing, trophy bass, keeping warm, staying organized, other bass, deep water reaction, slow and steady, boating safety, bass books, a career in bass fishing and other wintertime techniques are scheduled to be included.
