Last Friday, B.A.S.S. announced the 2025 Elite Series schedule, featuring diverse fisheries that should set the stage for an exciting and unpredictable season. Alongside that release, the organization announced a change in the timing of the no-information rule, stating Jan. 1, 2025 as the start day of the rule. Today, that changed.
After consistent feedback from Elite Series pros, B.A.S.S. will revert back to the rule stating that starting immediately (Sept. 8, 2024), anglers may not get information from any source that is not publicly available on the 2025 Elite Series venues or the 2025 Bass Pros Shops Bassmaster Classic presented by Jockey Outdoors. Additionally, B.A.S.S. is adding EQ (Elite Qualifiers) anglers to this ruling. To be clear, effective immediately, both Elite Series anglers and EQ anglers are prohibited from getting outside information on 2025 Elite venues.
