Toro and Major League Fishing Announce Extension of Partnership

Toro enters third year of partnership as the exclusive lawn mower provider of the MLF Bass Pro Tour

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (February 23, 2023)Toro, a leading provider of innovative solutions for outdoor power equipment, announces its continued sponsorship of Major League Fishing (MLF), the world’s largest tournament-fishing organization and premier outdoor entertainment brand, for the third year in a row. Toro will partner with MLF on exciting tournaments and events throughout 2023.

In addition to the extended sponsorship of the Bass Pro Tour, Toro is also proud to announce the lineup of #TeamToroMLF anglers for 2023, including:

  • Longstanding Team Toro angler, Brent Chapman of Lake Quivira, KS, former tour-level Angler
    of the Year (AOY).
  •  Jordan Lee of Cullman, AL, winner of the first-ever MLF Bass Pro Tour (2019), who went on a flurry of wins in 2020 to take home the hardware at Heavy Hitters and the General Tire World Championship, and claim the Bass Pro Tour AOY title.
  • Dakota Ebare of Brookeland, TX, a former rodeo bullfighter, who is now making big waves in the MLF circuit and took home his first major career win at the 2023 Series Southwestern Division season opener on Sam Rayburn.

Toro became the exclusive lawn mower provider of the MLF Bass Pro Tour in 2021 and has supported several events over the past two years, including a Spring Clean-Up event featuring MLF anglers, participation in the REDCREST General Tire Outdoor Sports Expo, and ongoing sponsorship of the MLF Bass Pro Tour.

The company will be the title sponsor of the Bass Pro Tour Toro Stage Four at Lake Guntersville Presented by Bass Cat in Guntersville, AL, taking place May 16 – 21, 2023. Toro will also continue its sponsorship of the “Toro Cut Line” feature during the Bass Pro Tour competition. The segment showcases anglers who are on the elimination bubble at each event, and features digital, social, streaming and broadcast integration.

Additionally, Toro will once again be on site as an exhibitor at the upcoming REDCREST General Tire Outdoor Sports Expo in conjunction with the REDCREST tournament in mid-March.
