Chris Lane and Foodland Bass Host Kids Camp

“Guntersville, AL – Bassmaster Elite Series pro Chris Lane, in conjunction with Guntersville Foodland Plus, will host the 3rd Annual Foodland Bass Team Tournament on Lake Guntersville, May 27th, as well as the 10th Annual “Reeling in Future Pros” Kids Camp that same day.”

“The tournament begins at safe light with approximately 200 two-person teams chasing the $10,000 grand prize. The Reeling in Future Pros Kids Camp, for ages 5 & Up, is from 9-1 p.m. and is open to 150 kids.”

““I am truly excited to be hosting these fantastic events along with the good people at Foodland,” said Lane, winner of the 2012 Bassmaster Classic. “We want the whole community to come out and be part of the fun and this great Alabama tradition – bass fishing!””


“A registration dinner for the anglers, hosted by Bryan Meats, will take place on Friday, May 26th, at Bucky Howe Boat Ramp at 6 p.m. Additional rib plates will be available for purchase and there will be inflatables and fun for the kids.”

“The weigh-in will begin at 1 p.m. on May 27th at Bucky Howe Boat Ramp.”

“In addition to the guaranteed $10,000 grand prize, a big bass prize will go to the two anglers who weigh in the two biggest fish.”
