Jacob Powroznik Continues With Quicksilver

Taking a look at the 2017 Bassmaster Elite Series schedule, one can’t help but notice the diversity of conditions the best pros in the world will face this season. And even more so their boats and motors. That’s why Angler of the Year candidate Jacob Powroznik is happy to start another season with the familiar blue-and-grey Quicksilver Marine Parts & Accessories wrap on his Ranger Z520C Comanche and Quicksilver’s industry-leading engine-care products protecting his 250 Mercury OptiMax Pro XS.

Powroznik, who joined the Quicksilver “QCrew” in 2016, will continue to use Quicksilver products exclusively in his Mercury/Ranger, and will share his QCrew Water Team experiences on the QCrew website (www.goqcrew.com). “Quicksilver is even more excited about the partnership with Jacob heading into the second year because of the things we learned from our inaugural year”, said Eric Reilley, Quicksilver Products, marketing manager, aftermarket products.  “Having a chance to be exposed to the Bassmaster Elite culture and the outstanding fan support has me hooked and eagerly anticipating Jacob’s season kick off at Cherokee Lake.”

“We start the 2017 season in below-freezing weather in East Tennessee and then go to 85 degrees in South Florida two weeks later,” Powroznik observes. “We put our boats and motors through the extremes, and I’m really happy to have Quicksilver products keeping my boat and motor in the best condition possible.”

Powroznik, who has racked up nearly $1.5 million in career earnings and 47 Top 10 finishes on the FLW Tour and Elite Series, is the only Tour-level pro who has finished in the Top 6 in AOY point totals the last siCx consecutive years (2011, ’12 and ’13 on the FLW Tour, 2014, ’15 and ’16 on the Elite Series). He was the 2014 Elite Rookie of the Year, has previously been ranked No. 1 in the Bassfan World Rankings, and is a favorite at the 2017 Bassmaster Classic on Lake Conroe in Texas.
