Captain Jack Ontario On Ike Live

Ike Live!
Ike Live Features Special Guest Spec. Ops Rudy Lindsey, Ret. (aka Captain Jack Ontario)

Rudy Lindsey—former member of the U.S. Army Special Forces, and life-long fisherman, a designer of custom rods and an active participant in the charity fishing team “TEAM Special Ops Survivors” to support families of fallen Special Ops members—joins Mike Iaconelli on Like Live!, Sunday, November 22 at 6:00 pm ET, live-streaming from mikeiaconelli.com. (Please note the earlier time.)

During his 25-year career in Spec Ops, Lindsey and his team executed missions all over the world, many in Afghanistan. Upon his retirement in 2013, he turned his passion for building fishing rods into a full time business, Jack Ontario Custom Rods, masterfully applying to the rods the same accuracy and precision he learned in Special Ops.

He and his buddies take part in fishing tournaments as members of Team Special Ops Survivors to raise awareness of the Special Ops Survivors Organization, which provides educational grants, survivor retreats and other types of help to the spouses of fallen Special Ops soldiers.

Growing up in South-Central Florida, he began fishing as a youth and still loves everything about it. He prefers a challenge over the “perfect day” on the water, and he has fished five of the seven continents. He credits his fishing experience with helping him find creative solutions during several missions.

He and Mike will talk about combat in Afghanistan, fishing around the world, life after Special Ops, and building custom rods.
