The Association of Collegiate Anglers and Ranger Boats have partnered up for The 2016 Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series.
Modeled after the most lucrative contingency reward program in the fishing industry, the Ranger Cup University is the only program of its kind designed exclusively for collegiate anglers and is open to those competing in Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series events throughout 2016. Regardless of which boat brand they own, collegiate anglers in compliance with the guidelines and free registration can earn merchandise, prizes, and a once in a lifetime fishing opportunity through the Ranger Cup University Challenge Fish-Off. Collegiate Anglers can enjoy the benefits of being registered for the Ranger Cup University program throughout the season by also earning cash and prizes at each of the 2016 Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series events.
“As a company, there’s nothing more important to us than growing the sport,” said Ranger Boats Vice President of Marketing, Bart Schad. “It’s our objective when we wake up each and every day, and it’s why we’re so passionate about college fishing events. There’s no better opportunity to connect and build relationships with the next generation of anglers.”
“Ranger Boats’ support of bass fishing in general is legendary and they are one of only a handful of companies that were involved in the early growth of college bass fishing and they have been there ever since,” said Wade Middleton, President of CarecoTV, and Director of the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. “It continues to be an honor to call them our partners in the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series.”
