Top Pro Circuit Angler and YouTube star Brian (B-Lat) Latimer will be running 13 Fishing Hard Baits on the tournament trail, his YouTube channel and new show Straight Up Fishing this 2022 season.
Prior to 2019, B-Lat had already made a name for himself on the tournament scene as well as his videos. After taking home the big trophy for the TW Pro Circuit on Lake Seminole he proved he could beat some of the sport’s best.
“Brian is an incredibly talented angler and also a super humble guy,” says 13 Fishing’s Marketing Director Ben Alcocer. “Watch any of his videos online and you’ll see that he has a unique ability to teach and entertain at the same time. This makes him a true dual-threat when it comes not just selling fishing tackle but also growing the sport of fishing.”
Since taking home the “W” in 2019 B-Lat has not missed a beat. After numerous top 10 finishes and countless great videos, he is ready to keep on going strong because he just loves fishing. “You know a lot of guys spend the offseason hunting or whatever, but to me that is time to go fun fishing – especially with my family,” say Latimer. “Its a really special thing when you get to do what you love for a living, and I’m blessed to live it every single day”.
“It’s actually kind of funny how it came about. I found 13 Fishing’s lures through one of my other sponsors in a subscription box. After my first casts with the Loco Special – I knew it was lights out. So when I started talking to the guys from 13 Fishing I had already tied on a handful of their baits and was genuinely impressed,” Latimer stated. After getting the full assortment of product offerings Latimer exclaimed, “I gotta tell you man! These colors are ICE COLD!”
