Phenix Signs Million Dollar Angler

Phenix Rods just announced Bassmaster touring pro Luke Clausen will be joining their pro-staff. Luke will be fishing with their premium bass rods that include the popular M1 and Recon Elite series as well as the newly introduced Feather Series and recently revamped Ultra MBX line.

“I am really looking forward to working with a company that puts their focus on innovation. They have the lightest and most sensitive rods I have ever seen and the best part is that they offer them at a great price point,” added Clausen.

“Having Luke on board will help us increase brand awareness and showcase our rods to the bass fishing world. It is great to have an angler of his caliber trusting Phenix rods to perform on the Elite Series,” stated Vince Borges the Director of Sales and Marketing for Phenix Rods.

Clausen is the only angler in FLW history to win the Forrest Wood Cup his rookie season and he is one of only five anglers to have won both the Forrest Wood Cup and the Bassmaster Classic. Also in 2006, Clausen became the youngest angler to reach the one million dollar career earnings mark.

Phenix began operation in 1977 and shortly after they had a loyal following for their custom rods. In 2006, they expanded their offerings with a wide range of rods built for a variety of different fresh and saltwater species. The focus of the company is innovation with an emphasis on decreasing rod weight and increasing sensitivity.
