It doesn’t get much better for die-hard fishing fans than sailing out into the ocean and indulging in some deep-sea fishing. The number of different species of fish is vast in seawater all over the world, and here is a list of 4 of the most extraordinary locations to go sea fishing and catch a few beauties.

Australia

This spectacular island is surrounded by enormous bodies of water and fringed with thousands of miles of golden beaches, so it’s no wonder Australia plays host to the largest sea fishing tournament in the Southern Hemisphere.

During the period from September to December, you will have the most chance of catching a Marlin – especially if you take a chartered boat to Cairns in Queensland, which is known as the Marlin capital of the world. The largest Marlin species is the Grander Marlin which can weigh over 1000 pounds.
