2017 Lake Berryessa – Jan 7-8, 2017 CTT Pro/Am Bass Tournament.

Lake Berryessa, BASSMASTER rated top 100 lakes. Berryessa is the largest lake in Napa County, California. It is also one of Northern California’s largest man-made lakes with 20,000 surface acres and 165 miles of shoreline. The lake level when full is 440 feet above sea level. This reservoir is formed by the Monticello Dam, which provides water and hydroelectricity to the North Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area.

At Lake Berryessa you’ll find yourself fishing steep, rocky banks in the lower half of the lake. The upper lake offers more shallow flats and gentler slopes.

Fish species in Lake Berryessa include Largemouth bass, Smallmouth bass, Spotted bass, Bluegill, Brown trout, Channel catfish, Chinook salmon, Green sunfish, Kokanee, Rainbow trout, White catfish and Sacramento pike minnow.

PRACTICE/OFF-LIMITS/GUIDES: Tournament waters are off-limits Monday -Wednesday prior to the tournament. Official practice starts on Thursday and continues until 3:00 pm on Friday. All tournament rules are in effect from the start of official practice. All contestants, including those on the waiting list, may not enter tournament waters to fish, test equipment, sight-see, etc., during the off-limits period.
