Well actually a lizard – not a snake.

Taking a little time off from his Atlanta, GA based plumbing business Dennis Weaver headed to a local lake next to Hamilton Mill.  Using 6″ Zoom purple lizard on a spinning rod, Shimano Stradic reel spooled with 6lb Spider Wire, Dennie tossed out the Texas rig lizard then fishing it very slowly, even dead sticking it all of a sudden “BAM” it was on.  I wasn’t too worried because I thought it was a catfish but when I get it to the bank I knew it was a giant bass.  My wife could see me from the house, dancing and jumping around holding the fish she came down and shot a couple pictures.
