PRINCETON, Wis. (June 23, 2011) – Fishing industry veteran Steve Ladany of Minnesota has joined Lake-Link.com, which provides timely fishing information including fishing reports, information on almost 20,000 Midwestern lakes, live weather details, articles and more.
“I’m very happy to be working with Darin and Steve Novak and the Lake-Link group,” Ladany said. “I’ve been welcomed with open arms and treated like family already!”
Ladany most recently was with Northland Fishing Tackle in a variety of positions including promotions, production and customer service. Prior to joining Northland Fishing Tackle in 1990, he was owner and operator of Bridgeview Resort in Bemidji, Minn.
Ladany believes two decades of experience working with anglers, guides and other representatives of the tourism, fishing and media industries will be a plus to help take Lake-Link to a national level.
“I plan to put my experience to work for Lake-Link to bring them to another level and achieve the goals we’re both looking for,” Ladany said. “I’m excited about their concept and program and can’t wait to get out there and start working. This program will benefit not only us, but tourism in general, including the consumer.”
“We are very excited to have Steve on board,” said Darin Novak. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and key contacts to the company and fits well into our growth and marketing strategy. Steve’s past experience will be key to laying the foundation for a broad network of anglers who will be providing ongoing local level content.”
“It is our belief our viewers want to see timely and local information,” Novak added. “With Steve on board, we are confident we will be able to achieve this for anglers across the Midwest and beyond.”
