Janet TV Launches Campaign to Inspire Female Athletes

Janet TV today announced its new campaign “I AM JANET TV” with hopes to inspire female athletes and active females of all ages and skill levels to compete at their highest level. The campaign seeks to highlight female athletes through a user submitted photo contest that will illustrate the athletes behind Janet TV. Photos can be submitted through Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram or Twitter.

“Our mission in launching Janet TV was to highlight female athletes and their achievements, so this contest aligns perfectly with our goals, allowing viewers to submit images of themselves as the actual embodiment of what Janet TV is all about,” Darryl Mobley, CEO of Janet TV, said. “Our hope in doing a contest like this is to encourage female athletes and active females across the country to proudly share the reflection of their athletic endeavors through photos so that the rest of the world can see images of dedication, determination and a spirit of competition among female athletes.”

Janet TV, the first sports channel dedicated to providing 24-hour coverage of female athletes and their sports, launched the “I Am Janet TV” campaign as another way to capture the strength and dedication of female athletes in their pursuit of excellence.

To participate in the “I Am Janet TV” campaign, athletes should submit photos that define them as athletic and/or active females. Participant photos that receive the most shares or likes will earn prizes, including Janet TV tee shirts and other apparel.

To participate, athletes can follow one (or all) of these simple steps:
-Post a photo on Janet TV’s Facebook page Facebook.com/SportsChannelforWomen
-Pin a photo on Pinterest and tag @janettv
-Post an Instagram picture with the hashtag #IamJanetTV
